Bidra med feedbackWe went through Whitewater and needed dinner, so I searched on the Internet for nearby restaurants. I saw that the Kraut house turned a house on the farm into a restaurant and we decided to take a chance, boy we were glad that we were. It's a little confusing where you arrive, as there are numerous buildings, but go to the white house on the right side. It is such a picturesque and welcoming environment in us were immediately impressed. They had just opened so that we had the dinner room for us, our server that I think his name was Robby was a big host, he was very informative and told us everything about the restaurant and food. We started with the Caesar Salad it was good, some difference then other Caesar salads I had because the Croutons were soft and chew. Next was soup, I had the baked French onions and my dining room partner had the asparagus soup. I can honestly say it was the best French onion soup I've ever had. My dining room partner loved the asparagus soup and had to stop eating everything because we had ordered more choices for which she wanted to save space. We also tried the sun dried tomatoes risotto, it was excellent. I had many Risotto dishes and that was Spot on. Perfect taste and texture of rice was right, I could not have been happier. The big finale was the Braised Pork Shank served with potatoes, asparagus and a rich brown sauce. I'm not good enough writer to explain how incredible this court was. The sauce filled the pork perfectly and the potatoes simply soaked it to even more taste. The pig itself just fell off the bone, that was a good meal. The prices were very fair, I had recently a meal where the participants were almost twice the price and could not compete with the wonderful meal in the Kraut house. If you are near Whitewater, you need to stop here, you will not be disappointed.
My wife and I have visited several times. The food is absolutely amazing. There is no way to get food from this quality unless you go to Milwaukee or Chicago. The shells, the steak, the French onion soup, the mushroom turnover and on and on. All fresh and super service also. We're so lucky in Whitewater.
Here! The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the staff is incredibly friendly! Without a doubt, it’s the best restaurant and business I've been to in a long time.
Incredible food and the best drinks I've ever had (the **** Mary and old-fashioned were fantastic)! The staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere of the place is excellent. You absolutely have to stop by if you're in the area!
The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is simply outstanding. I ordered the French onion soup, flounder, and crab for dinner, and I can't find words to describe how delicious everything was!
