Waitresses were ok and niceBut the food was dried outWe went as a group of 10 and everyone thought the food was dried out and overcooked.

Great place to have wings and beer! Wednesday cheap wings!

If your in the mood for a Pub with lots of cool stuff on the walls and good service, this is a great place to check out. Hands down the best bar in Whitecourt.

I went to C & A pub on the advice of hotel desk. Had I read the TA reviews first I probably would not have gone there. I went there for lunch, read the reviews later, & went back for supper to make sure lunch hadn't been a fluke.I had the mushroom burger at lunch & I am pretty sure it was the best burger I have eaten in Canada in the last 10 years. Most places overcook the burgers because that's what the law says. This one was not as medium rare as I prefer, but it still had a plenty of juice & flavor left.For supper I had the NY strip & shrimp skewer combo with sauteed veggies. Very acceptable steak. Properly cooked, tender & juicy.Atmosphere is traditional English pub & quite welcoming & comfortable. There were several reviews complaining about the service. Kylie at lunchtime was quickly there, food came out timely, & her attentiveness was perfect. Christie at supper was the same. Timely, attentive, & friendly.I would not hesitate to visit the C & A time & time again.

One of the better choices in town but Whitecourt is a terrible for eat out choices, the service has always been poor for the last ~10 years every time I come here the waitress' are too busy worrying about there next cigarette or whatever not sure, there is the odd good one but you know how oilfield towns are, they get barked at, coming here is pleasant some days but mostly it's a run down, needs a update as well. Food is always sub par but I mean the whole place is so at least it's consistent. They got many 6-8 TV's so could have something to watch, few nicer pool tables which is decent, the beer and liquor are the same, there wings are laughable too, solid 2/5 stars
