We Geaux Cafe - Westwego

Beautiful small place with good comfort food and wonderful staff! I had Jambalaya with fried fish, man the chicken pliers, children a chili hot dog and cheeseburger. Everyone was happy with their food. It looks like it's quite popular with locals, so you know it's good food.

Best seafood Gumbo I had and the Hushpuppies were delicious! All other foods looked good. The diner definitely feels at great prices. Thank you

This place was recommended to us but a little hard to find. There was no name before us or a sign we saw. The food was great!

Delicious comfort food, nothing beautiful here. Server was very friendly, service was fast. I have a seafood stuffed potato with one side of green beans. I thought the potato was like a side dish, but it was definitely a meal. I'll say that the au Gratin sauce could be a little, but I liked it. Husband got shrimps and grits the grits were quite rich, but we liked them the whole dish was delicious. We also have a little shrimp po boy to share, which was pretty good. Needless to say, we have ordered too much food, but it was all great!

I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, a cup of grits, bacon, whole wheat toast, and coffee. The food was good. The portion sizes were just right. I got in and out without a wait. The service was good, and the bill was just under $8 tip. If only they were open Sunday, too.
