Highlanders Campsite And Lodge

Mike Maria accommodated us even as sweaty, sandy cyclists. The showers on site have provided my best shower so far in SA, with wicked sunset views. Great wine. Lovely camp spot. Most importantly owners that are truly passionate about traveling helping people carry on with theirs. Mike has a lot of knowledge of many parts of Africa we loved hearing of his experiences.

Beautiful campsite, very well maintained, would recommend it to all campers and caravanners

Nice location, nice pool, very nice showers in the ladies with view of vineyards while you’re showering! Men’s showers were a bit cold. The owner was really friendly. Wine tasting was ok: we were in a big group so it felt a bit impersonal.

Wonderful stay with hospitable owners and delicious dinner breakfast. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

I found the location breathtaking and the management were more than helpful and family friendly, the rooms are lovely and romantic. My partner and I were pleased and very happy, a perfect getaway!
