Grace Merci - Western Cape

Cute place with a garden and shop, super service and food.

The Food is fantastic and the service even more so. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible experience at Grace and Merci. We arrived at the Swellendam market only to discover it had been canceled due to rain, so we decided to have breakfast at G&M instead. There were nine of us, all coming from Cape Town, and let's just say we had some specific preferences—about 80% of us customized our dishes in one way or another. Most places might have mixed up our orders and gotten frustrated, but not Emmanuel. He managed to get everything right and even arranged some off-the-menu mimosas for us!

What a charming little restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious, and there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available. It's a beautiful location, complete with a fantastic play area for young children. Don't miss the attached shop, which sells linens, soaps, and aromatic products—it's definitely worth a visit!

I had a refreshing and tasty lunch here, with fantastic smoothies and cakes. The staff were warm and welcoming, making it a wonderful little oasis in the city.
