Bidra med feedbackIndian Meadow Service Plaza is a very nice and clean place to visit while traveling. Place is clean and has a good sitting area, food court and vending machines. Drivers will find here comfortable sitting area with TV. Place has showers and laundry room.Restrooms are nice and clean. There is a spacious parking lot for cars, with a space dedicated to the RV’s, with hook up to power and large parking lot for trucks.
We camped here in the RV parking. It was well lit and quiet. The building (and laundry and free showers) were open all night. There is a free dump station and water fill that you can use even if you don’t stay the night. Everything was really clean especially the food court. I liked that there were tables outside too
Ohio turnpike service plazas are the nicest rest stops I have ever been to clean, well lit, and lots of grass to walk your pup!
Maybe I picked the short straw, but every single time I move more than an inch in any direction the toilet flushes. It has flushed about 15 times now. ?Outside of that, this is a decent travel plaza. ?
Who could imagine a Service Plaza getting this many stars? This place is really amazing as far as rest stops go. Ohio knocks it out of the ball park for rv travelers. This service plaza is sandwiched between the Ohio Turnpike and a huge farm. For $20.00 (CASH ONLY. ATM inside the rest stop building) they provide a beautiful, spacious pull through spot. Our Cayenne hooked to our 20 foot Airstream fit with plenty of room to spare. One traveler had a Ford 350 plus a 35 foot Alliance 5th wheel and he fit. If your rig is longer, then you would have to disconnect. But if you do disconnect there is room next to your rig to park. There are a few picnic tables. There is electric hook-up for all. Potable water to fill your tank. And a dump station. There is also green area for Fido to explore and a small dog run. Travelers can get coffee in the AM at the Starbucks. Bathrooms inside are clean and well maintained. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because getting gas could be tricky. There is one gas pump with the diesel pumps. But when we went the card reader wasn’t working. So we had to go through an “Exit Only” area to get to the gas pumps. This is a bit strange. If it was busier it would have been more tricky. But overall, this place is nicer than some campgrounds. Well rested travelers keep everyone safe on the road. I wish all states would follow Ohio’s model. THANK YOU Ohio!
