Bidra med feedbackWe enjoyed our time in the league club. the club is spacious, has a good atmosphere and a good size in the free modern beer garden. the prices for food and drinks are reasonable, especially for $7 annual membership. the personal was also friendly
That would be the worst thing I've eaten for years. the personal has filled the order, obviously not properly trained, could not even get the dine goodschein right. complex and bad. should not get stars
We ate here when we arrived and felt like a bite to lunch. we had only a toastia, chips and gravy and they were perfectly sufficient. service was good, drinks were inexpensive and many choices.
They experience very average. the staff was friendly, but we felt that the meals were not good. $19 for a burger and chips, it was okay, but probably not worth it. the pickles were also made by the burgers (not a big thing, and probably sounds. a bit like whinging, but it's always disappointing to be missing parts of their order) I wanted to get a steak, but interestingly enough kartoffelmaisch is not available as side? once again, simply enough to choose another side, but I like my kartoffels and I found it very strange not to have it on a club menu. However, beverages, chips and baked potato are available. when they are a potato lover like me, they prepare themselves broken on heart! the meals were well presented and quickly arrived. the club was also very clean, including the facilities with lots of hand sanitised and cold beer! so it wasn't all lost. it was also nice and quiet. would I eat again? yes. it was not enough to despise me, some aspekte were disappointing, but it is definitely worth a try. Hopefully it'll be better next time.
We visit Tamworth every year as we travel from WA and have always found this club's facilities and the menu to be very good with great variety of dishes and fair prices. However, since our last visit in 2019, (we weren't able to travel last...year because of Covid panic of course) it seems things have changed. Last night, 20/04/21, we visited for a meal and found the menu not as varied, the prices much higher and the standard of our meals far below what we have enjoyed previously. My wife had the crumbed lamb cutlets, at near $30, which were tough and very fatty and she was unable to finish them and for that price you only get to choose 2 vegetables, including chips which were under the meat! I have previously found the home made beef and kidney pies excellent and was going to have one again but they are no longer available so my choice was the Chicken Parmi which turned out to be a mistake too. The parmi was very average, but the big issue with both meals was that they just plonk the meat straight onto the chips which of course just end up a steamed mess and at around $25, was not good value, especially as it to was also limited to just 2 x vegies. One of our other partners had the Scnitzel which was tough and also sat on top of the chips and her husband had fish, which turned up with no chips, just boiled carrots and beans! Also, if you want salt or paper, you have to ask for it as you do if you want any other condiments. If this is the result of new kitchen staff, then I think they have made a mistake and if it's a cost saving measure, they will lose customers, as they have with us as there are many other venues around Tamworth with far better quality and value meals. Lastly, almost every businness we have visited in each state since we left WA has asked everyone to sign in which is fine but no one anywhere has demanded that we sign out before we could leave! Another example of people all doing their own thing and making it up as they go?
