This restaurant has been taken over by the Heritage Hotel. So we had an outside seat at the Heritage Hotel and had the steak special and it was delicious and great value. The music was a little loud but it was an enjoyable evening. Looked popular for families as well. we would definitely eat here again!

Great steak meal at the Wednesday Thursday $12 price. Staff was super friendly and helpful. $40 steak at $12 with a selection of homemade sauces and most of all perfectly cooked. I would pay the normal price with no issue as well. Can’t get any fresher than in the home of the Australian beef industry.

Note that yelp says they stay open till 11 pm or midnight (depending on the day) but the kitchen closes at 9. Turned out everything in Rockhampton pretty much closes at 9 so get to town early.

Location is a little confusing, seems to be part of the Heritage Hotel now. Steaks were good starting to get a little on the expensive side. Jam jars were very good nice Friday Saturday deal.
