Bidra med feedbackI ran really quick to order pizza for my kids. It was quick the staff was friendly. I forgot to include garlic rolls and stopped a gentleman for assistance with the order. The gentleman just happen to be the new owner Alex. Alex, his wife, and businesspartner were so kind and even offered my kids a few of the new items that will be hitting the menu. Nutella pizza and veggiepizza were both a hit. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back!
The pizza was actually good (Mediterranean) but the reason I’m giving 3 stars is the Detroit pizza I ordered. I was pretty excited to see a Detroit style close to me! Online it doesn’t tell you much about the size. So when I got it and opened it upit was a 4square Detroit pizza. 4 square for $14.99? That’s one expensive pizza. Really expensive. To give you a point ofreference, Detroit Eats in Boynton, their 4 square starts at $8. Their 8 square is $16. Amici is selling a square for $3.75 apiece! Another thing is a Detroit is supposed to be buttery and airy, with a golden-crisp cheese crust all around. Therewasn’t enough air in the crust which results in just bread and lacked flavor. That’s the reason for my 3 stars. The otherpizza was good, a bit more flavor in the crust and it would have been perfect.
I quickly ordered pizza for my kids, and the service was prompt and the staff was friendly. I realized I forgot to add garlic rolls, so I asked a gentleman for assistance with my order. The new owner, Alex, along with his wife and business partners, were wonderfully welcoming and even offered my children samples of some new menu items. Both the Nutella pizza and veggie pizza were a hit! Thank you for your warm hospitality. We will definitely return!
This restaurant used to be great. We ordered a pizza with toppings and garlic bread for takeout, which seemed straightforward. However, when we arrived, we found out that our pizza had been mistakenly given to someone else. They offered to make us a new one, but warned us it would take some time since they were busy that evening. I asked if we could at least get fresh garlic bread, but they informed me it would be cold and soggy by the time it was ready. To make matters worse, the person I spoke to didn’t have the authority to make the bread, which was quite frustrating. After waiting 30 minutes, our new pizza was finally ready, but it wasn’t even close to what we originally ordered. This was our third attempt at getting the pizza right. The only reason I’m giving them one star is that we eventually got the garlic bread—after a significant ordeal.
Furthermore, a true Detroit-style pizza should have a buttery, airy texture and a wonderfully crispy, golden cheese crust. Unfortunately, this one fell short, as the crust was dense and lacked the lightness and flavor I was hoping for. That's why I'm giving it a rating of 3 stars. On the other hand, the Mediterranean pizza was quite tasty—if the crust had just a bit more flavor, it would have been perfect!
