Blu Alehouse Palisades Mall

The restaurant was almost empty. Sat down, look at the menu. In 4 to 8 minutes we we're ready to order. No service approached us at all. I noted 5 staff members behind the bar having a friendly conversation. Asked in regards to who will be taking our order. They said someone would be with us shortly. Another 15 minutes and no one came to us. I look back to the staff members still chatting. 3 people attending an empty bar and 1 waitress. Decided to walk out. They can keep waiting without my money. Horrible service. 0 stars if i could.

Nice atmosphere but the food was really not very good. Lobster rolls tasted like they were made from canned lobster and the fish was just ok. Better places for the price.

OMG. Been to Palisades several times, never understood why such a big and good looking restaurant was always empty and all surrounding ones are packed. Even the bar always looks abandoned. Gave it a whirl this past week and now I realize why it's always empty.Servers very nice and attentive. Ambience is great. Nice and spacious restaurant.Food? How do you mess up a cheeseburger and fries? The roll it was on was stale. Anyone could tell it was toasted in a way to cover up the loss of freshness. The meat tasted like it could have been any kind of random meat. The cheese was the thinnest slice of generic american cheese from the expired section of grocery store. The fries were the kind you buy frozen in a bag and heat up in toaster. Pricing wasn't bad but honestly I was burping up random meet all night, which is odd because I only ate half because I was so hungry, otherwise would have just left it there.Sorry, now I fully understand why it's always empty. Hope the nice employees can find a job elsewhere.

The service is very fast. Even after we've received our food, our waiter and the manager come by to make sure we are all set. We truely enjoy the Mac&Cheese Bites! We only get water but they have a bar with a HUGE TV playing the latest sports. Only issue is the TV is usually in a color-blind mode that makes it irritating to watch. We tried our first dessert here which was the Apple Crump and Mississippi Mud Pie and both came out perfect. We loved our server and the managers attentiveness and were very helpful in recommending our meal.
