This place is a solid 6 out of 10 with potential to be really wonderful. the ambiente is beautiful, the place is renovated and has a modern feeling. with just a few small tweaks it could be great. For example, there are no standad salad options on the menu in relation to chicken salad, caesar or bark meat salads, only 1 kimchi salad. also for pasta, not much with regard to standard pasta dishes for a family dining place these items are key. carvery is always a winner, generously serve for a good price.

Visited on a very busy Friday night. food quality and portions are decent. the cold salad and the hot roasted should not be overlooked when you consider that eating can be a bit expensive. although at the sea it is too dark to enjoy the view in the winter nights. I think it can be more business in the summer.

Went here recently for a family catch up only because there were limited options available for lunch. It took a while for the order to be taken but the food came out very quickly after which makes me think how can it be in such a short amount of time. The food was ok, nothing special of note. There's a salad bar you can get food from to accompany your meal. The view over the lake is nice but I would leave it for the 85 year old diners to enjoy their meals here.

Extremely rude treatment when making a legitimate complaint about food sitting around too long and us not getting our food so we can eat together. I cannot believe the immaturity and lack of professionalism of the waitress when told of this problem, the way she handled it was atrocious and I asked her to please leave our table after she started to raise her voice. She acted as if we were attacking her personally and we were also pulled up by the rude manager and chastised in front of customers for the way we treated this innocent little junior waitress. I take the family there for the cavery its good value and the roasts are perfect. Im not sure about other meals their porthole schnitzel was good. Please don't get lazy with your salad bar not the greatest but not the worse. Will keep going so long as good value.
