Rona Kebab - WEST LAKES

Many decisions in food court, so they would think all food shops are on their game. paid $10.50 for a yaros, lamb was dry, not big. regrets the choice

We were in the suburb of seaton when the starving that only one kebab/Yiros could repair. my sister told me she knew about a Kebab place in the shopping center west lakes. we made our way to westlakes where we found rona kebab. first we were a little surprised, as here in South Australia they are more often referred to as yiros. in any case we were not dried. when we approached the counter, we were served by a middle old man and we started to order. since we were not familiar with the process, we began to list the ingredients we wanted on our yiros. he then interrupted us and explained that we had the opportunity to explain our desired ingredients after adding the meat and the sauce....read more

I have the impression that Mary does not like to serve me coffee. I ordered 2 cappuccino and forgot to mention 2 sugar then she said that I should have let her know as I’m ordering which was 2 seconds ago I placed the order. It wasn’t even passed to the person that makes the coffee and in the end she was the one to make a coffee. I have been coming to this place all the time and that’s how she always treated me. I will not be coming back to this place and I will do my best to spread it around.

Decided to try this cafe for brunch. Served all day breakfast so opted for smashed avocado and poached egg $16). A beautifully presented very large meal presented. One piece of bread, large amount of avo, pomegranate seeds, cherry tomatoes, beetroot dip and a softly poached egg. Don’t be deceived by only having 1 price of toast as the meal is more than adequate and very tasty. Staff friendly welcoming.

Have been here several times. the food is ok, but nothing special, service was less than ideal. Poor covid management strategies, with many staff not wearing, or thinking they are a surgeon who failed infection control 101 Waite staff gave the impression that they had other things to do, passing meals across the table, nattering in the bar, or pulling plates before people had finished eating. watched some interesting food handling so did not order anything from the ice cream freezer
