Miss Sugar Dessert - West Lafayette

Wife and I treated our selves to a local favorite. Handmade Mint with strawberries, chocolate kisses, m&ms and chocolate drizzled on top . This was chased down Fresh Berry 1/2 sweet tea, loved the actual fruit along with drink.

This was my first time trying rolled ice cream and we decided to visit a new ice cream shop that was a little different from our usual spots. It is located near the Chauncey area so parking is limited, but there is a nearby parking garage that is open for nights and weekends. Upon entering, we were greeted by brightly colored walls and a display case filled with treats. I chose the strawberry lady rolled ice cream, which was good but not the creamiest I've ever had. It was fascinating to watch them spread out the ice cream mixture on the frozen slab and then use a scraper to roll it up. The rolls were quite frozen, making it a bit challenging to scoop them at first. I recommend trying rolled ice cream for its unique texture if you haven't had it before. The only downside was the pricing; the macarons were $3 each, which seemed a bit high. We ordered two rolled ice creams and one regular soft serve, totaling almost $20. I cannot comment on their teas, but I plan to return to try them as I am a fan of bubble teas.

A hidden gem! I'd never really heard of this place until I walked by one day on campus, but I saw they had boba and that got my attention! I finally visited this week. My friend tried the boba mango popping boba was delicious and the coconut tea was nice as well. I was super excited to try the rolled ice cream. I got mango and got to watch them make it. They were very sparing on the topping I was hoping for alot more than one strawberry, but overall it was refreshing. Definitely unique and worth a revisit!

Exceptional. Not all ice cream is good simply by virtue of being ice cream. The ice cream they have is excellent and still would be even if it weren't sold and presented in such an interesting manner. It's a top notch presentation, but more importantly, very tasty, with great service. If I'm in Lafayette, this is one of my stops.
