Empire Chinese - West Dunbartonshire

This restaurant has always been a reliable option for takeout. However, there are items missing from the menu, which is understandable. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was disappointing, as the new management seems to be cutting corners with cheaper ingredients. I will not be returning.

I ordered food from Empire Chinese in Hardgate yesterday and was extremely disappointed with what I received. Initially, I was told it was just the marinade, but it turned out to be raw chicken. My order cost £28, but they kindly refunded me £8.80 for the raw chicken.

I frequent the Empire often and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it. It is a take-away place so you cannot dine in, but the delivery is always prompt and the food is delicious and warm.

Was disappointed with the order having ordered from Empire on previous occasions. Curry sauce more or less black and the chicken was like rubber. Satay sauce was bland (almost like it had been reused), and the beef looked like thinly sliced square sausage (not sure it was beef to be honest,woof) And the prawn crackers....... my misses will be lucky I don’t start barking at her in the morning to take me for a pooh, or howling at the moon!! Woof

For sure this is the best Chinese takeaway in Clydebank. Always fresh and great meal. I highly recommend!
