Hy-vee Wine Spirits - West Des Moines

This place has hired security and after attempting to enter the store with the guard who stops people twice in front of the doors and after the announcement that there was a mistake, both times with the registers (Maybe fix the registers) I must think that this policy is at the same level as Hyvee market grills. I am everything to stop crimes, but as rare as I go into this old store, I think it was a bit in terms of camp security, both people faced times and both times were the result of a disturbance with registers. Hyvee should be accused with a crime for the prices they charge for their terrible baked goods, and their cookies are hard enough to use for criminals to get out of jail to tunnel (don't send Hyvee baked goods in prisons that will escape people with them)! I hope we get a crotch or publix to compete with these guys. Maybe you missed the market grills that are now all Whalburgers because Hyvee Cant cook food worth a flip, but this was a big loss and when the Whalburgers in other states are much better than Hyvee run, I would say they need a CEO of another food chain.

Watch the prices in meat counters 3/2022. The shelf price was lower than the ad price and the seller did not want to honor the lower shelf price.

Place is always clean and we'll stocked and easy to find

Very disrespectful workers. I sliced my finger open on the self checkout bagging rail and I politely asked for help bagging my groceries and cleaning the **** mess. It was visible I was bleeding and leaving a trail. The young man doesn’t know my health history and should ASSUME bleeding could become serious for me. He went on to say if I wanted tissue I had to buy it. We went back and fourth before he gave me cleaning paper towels. Never again will I use self checkout. Why would I come to the store to work for myself when they have plenty of workers in store standing around. Hire better workers, preferably ones who have self respect and respect for others. Blood in a grocery store is a biohazard and employees should be trained to handle serious matters.

Needed to mail a package at the service counter. A more appropriate name is DIS service counter. One person taking care of several customers in line and one develops a problem. That only person has to stop everything and make the rest of us stand around waiting for them to solve the first customers problem. Okay, they have an issue that's in need of attention. The store is busy so where are the others that could provide customer service. There are none because HyVee apparently doesn't care to provide good customer service. This has been a constant problem at this store and no one cares. With such high grocery prices seems like more employees could provide service counter service.
