Hy-vee Mealtime - West Des Moines

For the price, it's hard to find a better breakfast deal than HyVee. You get a lot of food for just $10: 2 scrambled eggs, a generous portion of breakfast potatoes, 3 strips of bacon, 2 sausage links, and a huge pancake. On top of that, you can also order a half order of biscuits and gravy for just $4. The portions are ample and I even had leftovers. The quality of the food is consistently good, which is why I've returned to order this meal several times.

The wings were tough and cold, while the tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and gravy were overly salty. The tenderloin also lacked good flavor.

This restaurant consistently gets our orders wrong every time! I paid for a meal for two people and only received one egg roll, when I paid for four. I ordered six spring rolls and only received two. Additionally, there was only one small packet of sweet and sour sauce for the entire meal. For $33, there should be more sauce included. The portion of rice served was also inadequate for two people. The solution to these issues is simply to improve their counting skills.

Pizza was burned on the bottom. Cake was dry. First order was a good experience. This one not so much.
