Coach's Pizza - West Des Moines

Since this restaurant was sold to the people who own Wellman's the service has deteriorated significantly. We used to be weekly customers that slowly drifted to monthly, however, due to the service from the bartender tonight we will never go back. Entitled bartender who could not listen and blamed us for our order of salad and pizza. Major attitude because I asked for the correct meal that we ordered. Will never go back due to service. They have had an amazing staff in the past but have noticed when they bring people over from Wellman's the service has declined. Much better places to spend my money. If I could put a zero star I would.

I haven't been here in years and really wanted to love it but the food fell short. It was very busy on a Friday night and service was pleasant despite being able to tell they were short staffed and running around with their heads cut off. They need to staff for the tables with servers, have dedicated runners, and a few people doing drinks and salads on a weekend night like that. It has a cozy ambiance and has high potential. I don't see myself going back for the pizza alone the toppings and sauce were good but the crust seemed like a store bought crust you can buy and make at home. What happened to the old crust??

Excellent pizza. Great service! Fun place to meet friends or get take out! Price wise..very reasonable!

Never fails, food and service is always great here. Love the Hot Moma : . I've ordered from here about 5 or 6 times. This is my go to pizza place.

What a fun place! GREAT food and terrific staff. And, bonus, locally owned. We love it.
