Dimsum Box - West Covina

Ready to order via GrubHub and was craving dumplings. I nearly ordered from another fusion dumpling spot in Walnut. But I'm so glad that I came across this gem! The food was packed neatly and spillage free. The curry Singaporean stir fried rice noodles is probably one of the best I've ever tasted. The pork/shrimp Siu Mai and the football shaped dumplings Ham Sui Gor are so tasty. The tofu skin wrapped shrimp rolls might be over steamed and are a tad bit chewy. Overall, I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner. Will definitely order from Dim Sum Box again!

Excellent customer service! Got the juicy pork dumplings, onion pancake, pork bao, small sesame red bean puffs, and the pork rice noodle roll. Sesame puff and pork bao were good and I love that you can order them in smaller quantities instead of the usual 8-10. Prices pretty good. Only complaint was the rice noodle roll was super mushy and felt like goo in my mouth. Otherwise not a bad place to eat.

My family and I decided to try this place out. We ordered several items, Shumai, dim sum, rice, buns, etc. The food was delicious. Some items were cute sizes, but what my husband and I noted was that although we were super full, we didn't feel gross and bogged down.Another notable was the service. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. One helped my sister with the bathroom door when she needed to use the changing table in the bathroom for my nephew. Another waitress came by and had a nice conversation with us and gushed over my nephew which was cute. When we left they all said good bye to us. When we were about 10 min away, they called us to let us know we had forgotten a bottle at the table. When we returned to pick it up, they had washed the bottle in hot water for us. Would definitely return

Food: 4*Service: 3*Ambiance: 3*Value: 3*Met some colleagues for lunch and we ordered dim sum. The soup dumplings were good, not great. The pork and shrimp shui mai were excellent, the shrimp har gow were great. String beans were okay, overly soupy and very small. The scallion pancake was a complete miss, small, oily, and had one scallion in total throughout. The red bean paste seasame balls were great, a little short on the paste, but still fresh, hot, crunchy, and toasty. Although we ate inside, they provided to go plates, cutlery, and cups. When I asked for actual plates they said they do have any, but I saw a couple tables with actual plate so I'm confused. The lady behind the counter was friendly, helpful, and nice.

Great food and excellent service!!! Will surely go back. They have a variety of dimsum and dinner menu items.
