Bidra med feedbackThe I.D. is a wonderful gem in Cedar Rapids. First went there 30 years ago. When I got back near town finally after 25ish years and I am so glad they are still there! Great place for Fish Chips (really good coleslaw and I'm thinking the tartar sauce is made in house too; both memorably good)! The Reuben was wonderful, but tough to get past the fish and chips. Love going there when I get near Cedar Rapids!
This place is a timeless classic. Staff is great. Turtle cheesecake is fantastic.
Better than average place with a sit down atmosphere and full bar. The nachos are my favorite in town. The actual food menu is impressive enough
My mother met with a group of friends at the restaurant. My mother ordered ribs and she received them cold and she brought me a hamburger and fries. My hamburger was burnt. I'm not even able to eat it. What a complete waste of $44! We will not be going back.
My husband and I went for lunch today. Making sure we were parked in a space in lot was difficult because lines were not very visible. Once inside, we were greeted and seated right away. We had a bit of a wait to have our order taken. We could see our waitress talking with another at the drink station. We started with ice teas and the cheese wonton appetizer which was delicious and promptly came to our table along with our drinks. We each had sandwiches and fries. The toast and fries were cold when they arrived as well as the restaurant (take a sweater). We ordered ice tea and received one refill. The waitress was attentive after she took our order and advised us the our sandwiches would take longer than normal because we were after a group of 13. Cold food and atmosphere, the wait we had between being seated and getting drinks/order taken is the reason for 3 . We used to like to go to the ID, not sure if we will go back.
