This place is just incredible. In case you do not like to read in deep reviews, here it is summarized in a set; absolutely, and without a doubt, the best coffee and breakfast sandwich I ever had anywhere. I wish I could give 10 stars... every year my family and I can come to surrender for a week. About 4 years ago, I stumbled over this amazing store. Since then I have been sure to visit this business every time. Indeed, it is one of the reasons I look forward to our annual holiday. Upon entering you will find beautiful decor, library and an exceptionally welcoming environment. Not one employee has ever been something unusual. Your coffee is always delicious every time it is always smooth and perfect. If you have ever been in a dunkin” donuts, you know that it is a 50/50 shot if your coffee is actually done right. This is not the case with Ostara. In addition, their breakfast sandwiches will be ordered, and do not sit under a heating or microwave when someone finally ordered. Every time I get my order, I always wonder how can someone improve on simple things like a sandwich or coffee as Ostara does? My best guess is the pride and dedication that they use QUALITY and FRESH ingredients in any product they use. So please, if you’re a coffee aficionado like me, or if you’re just looking for a good coffee, don’t waste your time on the “Dime a dozen” beach coffee shops that you’ll find for hours on Beach Avenue. Take 5 additional minutes to treat yourself to this small family business. They won't regret it.

You have to stop at Ostara for a coffee when you're in Cape Town. Coffee is great, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the girls are very nice and make a great drink and when they have food they make a great breakfast sandwich!
