Charlie's Steak, Ribs Ale

We were sat immediately on a Saturday and had great food. I got ribs and they were cooked to perfection. Fell right off the bone. Toddler got mac n cheese and it was real steak house mac, not boxed like some places. A member of our party has a food allergy and they were very attentive to that which is SO nice and comforting when on vacation. I think we’ll be back next time we’re in town.

I would have put a negative zero if it was. AN OPTION! We were a party of 6 black people that was treated as if we were aliens. They refused to seat us and the place only had a few white people seated, that looked at us like we were not supposed to be in this earth. They were so cold hearted, and lied like they didn’t have seats available for us, but we saw white people come in as we walked out and were seated. Thank God other places were very pleasant and knew how to treat black people without discrimination!! We wasn’t given the opportunity to be seated!

When we first arrived an almost empty parking lot on a Friday night should have been our first hint. Me and my husband and our 3 teen sons, host was not very welcoming , our waiter seemed new and timid , took a very long time to get the food. my order came out incorrect. my husband asked waiter if they could sing happy birthday to our twins celebrating their 14th birthday he agrees but never happened but that’s fine my twins did get brownie desserts. It was just a very awkward environment none of the workers were thrilled to be there ! they literally all acted like they absolutely despise being there. Suddenly the empty parking lot made sense. Bill was pretty pricey for such a depressing atmosphere.
