Conveniently located right off of exit 212, off of I-75, in West Branch. Restaurant has a log cabin/ hunting lodge feel to it with the decor. It is also connected to the Quality Inn, and has a gift shop. Our waitress other staff were nice friendly.Food was good, but could be better. My wife and I started with the poutine fries for an appetizer, which were delicious. Then Ihad the bacon cheeseburger and fries, which was ok, but not even close to better I've had. My wife had the Mushroom Swiss burgerand fries. Unfortunately, my wife found a hair in her food and sent it back. They remade it for her, and after the wait and theinconvenience, the manager didn't come talk to us (which is usually the norm in restaurants) they didn't even offer adiscount. She ended up only eating part of the burger and some of the fries, brought the rest home.
Service was great, food was good and served quickly. The turkey sandwich had enough meat to almost make 2 sandwiches very fresh bread. My burger was very good but bun hard. Will definitely be back
Only been a few times, but every time we really liked it.
My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch before heading over to the Outlet Center, and we were so glad we did. We both said that the slow-roasted pot roast sounded good, and it was. Even the mashed potatoes gravy was good. Highly recommended.
