Gasthaus zur Emme - Werthenstein

Arrived around 8pm after a day of driving from Geneva. We did not have a reservation. We just walked in to see if there were any rooms available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant but we did not eat there. Werthenstein Train station is right behind the hotel. 2 min walk out the back door. The city of Lucern is 18km away.

Our group had pre-reserved here for the sake of coffee. we were on time. but the service was not parat and when we started putting the tables together we were instructed. also the search type of the service has been misjudged to us. After we had clarified this we ordered our glaces and moved back. we're not gonna look in again. Above all, we are disappointed by the family feusi, which has hardly been noticed and were probably happy when we went back.

That's exactly what we wanted: a restaurant outside the city of lucerne in a picturesque setting. Located not far from the castle, the restaurant has enough park space, a staff who has even made us the honor of a few words in French and a well served and quality cuisine. The prices were quite correct for what we ate. The dishes out of the kitchen were all very appetizing. We ate a sandy linet with saladeroastbeef with salad with homemade tartare sauceflan caramel

In the emme you can eat good and taste good wine. the chefin understands something of weinhat many parking spaces just in front of the house.

Wit stayed in the guest house to the emme for a meeting with friends. the restaurant is also easily accessible by public transport. the railway station Worthenstein is just two minutes to walk away. Of course, you can also travel with the car. the wetin was very courteous and friendly. eating was very good. the recommended wein a true pearl. I'm looking forward to the next visit.
