Bear Sushi - Welland

The sushi at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The rice was tough, and the avocado in my roll was dark brown, which suggested it wasn't fresh. The salmon also fell short in quality. There was very little sashimi included; it was primarily just a pile of hard rice. It felt like they were trying to create the illusion of a large portion, but it was mostly just rice. Unless you're happy with sushi from a convenience store, I would recommend saving your money. I'd much rather eat at the food court just a short walk away.

I tried sushi from Bear Sushi at the Seaway Mall for the first time, and it was wonderful! The customer service was exceptionally friendly, and the quality of the food, paired with the reasonable prices, truly made my day. Thank you, Bear, for a fantastic meal!

The sushi at this restaurant was underwhelming. The rice was tough, and the avocado in the roll was brown and lacked freshness. Even the salmon wasn’t enjoyable. There was hardly any sashimi; instead, there was an abundance of hard rice, which made it difficult to appreciate the flavors. They seem to be trying to give the impression of generous portions, but it’s mainly just rice. If you're fine with mediocre sushi, similar to what you’d find in a convenience store, you might consider dining here. However, I would personally prefer to eat at the food court just a short walk away.

This is my kids' favorite sushi place in Welland. The staff is friendly, and while it leans towards the pricier side like many sushi and sashimi restaurants, the experience is worth it.

The rolls contain way too much rice, which overwhelms their flavor. Because of this, the other ingredients get lost. On the plus side, they are very inexpensive.
