The Meat'n Place, Hometown Grill

Great food. We 've been here a handful of times and really like it. If you 're looking for a laid back place to grab a quick bite this is a good choice. It 's not fancy. They do have a bar area. The burger is great. Fries are hand cut, onion rings are hand breaded and very light (as much as a fried food can be). They serve breakfast on the weekends and their gravy is awesome. It 's made with sausage and bacon not from a bag. The true test for me is ranch dressing, they make their own!!

My go to place for good cheeseburger and fries. The shrimp poorboy sandwich is a good change up. I heard they are open for breakfast so I will have to go see Darla Fort and eat breakfast..

The owners are so friendly and accommodating! The catfish po boy is so good!!! Zucchini fries are delicious! Great place for lunch or dinner!

I have been to this restaurant on two occasions. I was unhappy with both visits. The first I had their French dip. The beef was dry around the edges and the au jus was putrid. I only went back because some friends wanted to have breakfast there. We showed up after church and were told they had run out of breakfast food . This restaurant has an in professional feel. I won 't be going back and would highly recommend you stay away as well.

The staff were polite, the food was mediocre and the restaurant was cold. May try it again in the warmer season.
