Bidra med feedbackAffordable, tasty, and excellent! I enjoy visiting this place for a late brunch or early breakfast, mostly. The food is absolutely delightful. It’s a perfect way to start your day or enjoy a late-night dinner. I recommend the congee, fresh fritters, and large warm soy milk to share. It's a classic breakfast/brunch spot. If you live in the area and aren't sure where to eat, come here! Bring your family and friends, as the portions are great for sharing.
The food here is simple but decent, and the prices are very reasonable. The congee is enjoyable, with a nice variety to choose from. The rice rolls are prepared with the perfect texture, and the condiments on the table complement them well. I tried one of the fried rice dishes featuring Chinese sausage and some vegetables, which was tasty. However, the Shanghai noodle stir-fry was excessively salty. The beef brisket noodle soup was great on one visit but just average on another. The long donut is superior to the sweet crullers. Overall, this place offers authentic cuisine at great prices.
The rolls were fantastic, and both the rice roll and donut stick were made fresh to order. The only downside was that I found it a bit lacking in sauce; next time, I'll just ask for extra. The beef delicacy included tripe and, I believe, lung. Both were fresh and not too gamey, and the sauce was incredible. However, I thought there was a bit too much turnip and not enough tripe and lung for my taste. The sweet donut was thick, fresh, and had a lovely aroma since it was made right when I ordered it. The service was very friendly. My server spoke limited English, but it wasn’t a problem as she understood the basics perfectly.
