Lankan Delights Authentic Sri Lankan Food

Disappointing first experience here. Ordered lamprais, it wasn't the variety shown in the photos as shown on their website or marketing but rather a huge portion of white rice with meagre amounts of sambal, protein, an over-cooked egg and the tiniest cutlet. Lacked flavour, variety and balance to the dish. For the high price point (between $15 and $18 per lamprais), me and my guests expected better.Edit: This review is for Lankan Delights, which apparently shares the same kitchen/address as two other restaurants? It doesn't even come up on a Google search on first try... Really sketchy, just like the location.

Rice, spice, and everything nice sums upthis place.If you are a food enthusiasts seeking a blend of exotic tastes and culinary traditions then Sri Lankan cuisine is a must-try.The very lovely Sivapriya who is the headchef @lankandelights has mastered her skills in Sri Lankan cooking and even baking by introducing short eats like fish rolls, patties even freshly prepared fish buns.Priya makes one of the most delicious Lamp Rais in Mississauga along with delicious classics like mutton kothu roti tantalizing veg non veg curries.Do checkout @lankandelights for a a delightful exploration of coastal flavors.

If you have the money go to another south Asian restaurant, this place sucks. The shot eats are absolutely disgusting and guaranteed will be in the toilet with diarrhea or vomiting. It's not only tasteless but the food is flavourless. I went there today and got a small saucer of snacks and paid $19. I could have thrown the money in the Ontario Lake wouldn't have mattered. Now I will be spending more time in the toilet, I'm lucky to be fooled. Indians are running the show in the kitchen and don't know what Jaffna, Srilankan food is all about, so my advice is kindly STOP going there. SAVE your MONEY and be HEALTHY.
