I am so disappointed to say that Superstar Restaurant has drastically declined in quality. We ordered two king prawn dishes - prawn chop suey and salt and pepper prawns. Unfortunately, both dishes were not de-veined and the salt and pepper prawns had a thick, undercooked batter. It was nearly impossible to eat. My family has been loyal customers for over twenty years, coming in for our monthly treat. I had high hopes for our visit, but it turned into a nightmare. It's truly a shame.

My partner and I got sick after eating at this restaurant. We will not be returning. Something is not right with your new chef or changes you have made.

I ordered online at 4pm for a 6pm delivery, but the food didn't arrive until almost 6:45. It was lukewarm and unappetizing. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but either got a busy signal or the call just rang off. I had to reheat the food in the microwave for my kids, who were eagerly waiting for their meal. Unfortunately, the food tasted bland and my daughter's ribs had barely any meat on them. When I finally reached someone at the restaurant, they were rude and only said they were busy. They offered a refund, but insisted they needed to come pick up the food, even though we had already eaten some. The conversation went round in circles and they eventually hung up on me. I have always been a loyal customer of this restaurant, but after this experience, I will never order from them again.

We have used this Chinese for the last 20 months and recently have noticed a deterioration in the standard of the food. Having read other reviews, we now realise this is due to a change in ownership and presumably chefs. Tonight we had battered chicken balls soggy batter, plain noodles missing flavour, mixed veg bland and al dente, char Sui pork fatty and inferior quality to previous. Really disappointed and a waste of money. We will not be using again.
