Kobe Express - Waynesville

Didn't expect much of this place. It looks like cabin inside with the mix of Japanese and American styles. They give you a hot miso soup before the main course, instead of serving it at the end. But I am impressed by the quality of service and food quality. As a person I spent 6 months in Tokyo, I can say that these sashimi are the most close to that I enjoy in Japan. Raw fish feels amazingly fresh, served chilled and incredibly delicious! And together with the cold, that was something I've been looking for in the USA for a long time. Great experience! All the food was great, our waitress was new in training, but super friendly and made an amazing job. Definitely suggest the Crab Pillow appetizers they were delicious.

Adequate place I'll be back! The sushi is good, fresh and quick. I have eaten there 2 times and after the Hibachi Steak and the mushrooms with the Yamsauce I will definitely come back!

Had Sushi and Jumbo Honey Shrimps, Delicious! The Teriyaki sauce on the chicken comb my husband had cost had burned something.

Excellent food! Service was fantastic as well! Will come again, sushi was best I've ever had!!
