Osaka Iii - Waynesboro

The food here is always fresh and delicious. They have never let me down in all of the years weve lived here. I lived in Southern California for 10 years and never dreamed I would get sushi thats this good in Waynesboro.

Have eaten here many times and one of our favorites. Husband lived in NYC for 10 years and rarely eats sushi in Central VA, but we both love this place. Sashimi is always excellent. Soft shell roll was great. Most other rolls also wonderful (historically), but we were disappointed to find that the "crab" in one of our rolls was in fact fake crab sea legs. Understand that some folks are fine with this but we feel the menu should not say "crab" if it isnt actually crab.

I ordered from this place for the first time today. The staff was friendly and helpful, the place looked clean from what I could see. The food though was overpriced for how bland it was. The shumai was chefs kiss but the hibachi was bland. The rice was not that flavorful and the chicken was also bland. The yum yum sauce was not very yum yum. Not necessarily bad but not good. This place is ok for mediocre overpriced Japanese food.

The picture for Egg Fried Rice looks like egg custards and is very misleading. Sushi was great though!

Sushi was $22 and very underwhelming. Steak Dinner Hibachi New York Strip Steak was expensive and the beef was very dry and not a lot of food.
