Umi Sushi Japanese - Wayne

I visited the restaurant during a quiet time and, surprisingly, even though I'm not a fan of sushi or seafood, everything was delicious. I went for lunch, which made it more affordable. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box and also tried the volcano roll, along with another roll that I can't recall the name of, but it had fried banana on top and it was my favorite. The fried fish salad was also a highlight; it was the first time I had fish, and it genuinely tasted like chicken! I absolutely loved it.

I visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time, and I will definitely be going back. They offer a lunch special with three rolls for $12-14, and the sushi is excellent. The seating area has a nice Japanese vibe, which adds to the overall experience.

We visited on a Tuesday evening when it was quite peaceful. The food was fresh, and the service was excellent. The highlight of our experience was how attentive they were regarding my daughter's severe allergies. They asked several questions to ensure they met her needs properly.

My nine year old loved the hibachi, both the show and the salmon/steak. The staff are courteous, not effusive, and I enjoyed my veggie dish. My nine year old says 'it was really nice to watch them cook and I really liked the tricks the chef did. '

I visited this restaurant for New Year's and had made a reservation for 20 people for hibachi. Our reservation was scheduled for 6:30 PM, but we didn't get seated until 7 PM, which was quite disappointing.
