Court House Cafe - Waxahachie

Good home cooking in the heart of downtown waxahachie.The old style Cafe near the Court house gives you a great menu of breakfast and lunch items.The price for the amount of food was not too steep that your wallet would cry.Everything is cooked on order and always fresh. This place has a lot of history in it walls and if you sit and listen, you will get lost in the time before.I truly recommend this restaurant. Its a good place for a breakfast meet or a quick bite as you tour downtown.

It was raining cats and dogs so we pulled off the expressway and decided we would eat where we found close parking. This was perfect. I had the daily special with purple hulls, a Southern pea I'd never had before. Hubby got a burger and fries. All were good. The restroom is a little scary but necessary for travellers.

Are you looking for the little town café where the food is made like mum when you went up. This is this place. Comfort Food, perfectly cooked, served by friends, even if you don't know them. You have to come before 11:00 and have breakfast. You close at 1:30 so you can't make a late lunch here. And if I forget what the Dessert options are today. In fact, you might want to ask first because you might want to skip lunch.

Small small hometown café with good food, great prices and fast attentive service. Maybe we just found our new place.
