What a beautiful pub! My spouse and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The food was exceptional. My husband claims it was the best steak he's ever had - it simply melted in his mouth. The starters, mains, and desserts were all lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our waiter, Greg, was very polite. We made a reservation, but on a September evening early in the week, it probably wasn't necessary. There is outside seating for warmer days. The pub has a charming original flagstone floor. We will definitely be coming back. Vegetarian options are available, as well as choices for vegans, vegetarians, and pescatarians. For those with dietary restrictions, it is recommended to call for more information. Parking is available in the pub car park, as well as on the street if it's busy.
