Rocket Baby Bakery - Wauwatosa

Love the chocolate croissant and the butter croissants. Great French loaf. Lovely nicely done bread. Now, that the tables are open the service is a chaos, sadly is slow and disorganized. Staff in the front can't tell what's available or not even though there still items on display.

Like others have said, the bread and pastries are great. But the flow of ordering and getting drinks and food is bad. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee drinks. Our sandwiches came out after about 10 minutes. We found seats outside and finished the food and went back to look for our drinks, and they still weren’t ready. They have people milling around, but almost nobody directly helping a customer. You just pay the cashier, then wait for someone to eventually call your name. It seems very disorganized. And if you happen to go to the farmers market where they have a stand, note that the bread is marked up by $2 over the bakery price, and yes, they still ask for tips on their little payment screen.

Stopped by Rocket ? Baby absolutely the BEST bakery in town ? ? I really love the cheese danishes they have all sorts ?. I always order the blueberry danish. I’ve also had the raspberry danish whenever it’s available. Today I tried the apricot danish which was amazing ?. The only thing I wished was different, would have been to have tiny bits of apricot all around mixed with the cream cheese, like they do with the blueberries . I want more of the tangy goodness ? in every bite. But all in all it was definitely worth the wait to get to that perfectly centered apricot. last but not least the blueberry danish is always my devine favorite My apologies I could only upload the blueberry pastry I was way too excited to try the apricot one, but you can see I had two different versions. The details in there pastries ? are immaculate ?. GAME CHANGERS!!!!! Please check them out you will never be disappointed by the amount of freshness they bring to your taste ? buds ? ?. You can never go back ??

Love this place. They have truly exceptional pastries and delicious bread. The best thing that they had during the pandemic was a walk-up window so that you could go up and order even if you were taking your dog out on a walk. They've since opened up their cafe and have the walk-up window only for online orders. It'd be great if they could still accommodate people who are walking with their animals and have a sign saying that you can take your order at the window. Especially because the location of rocket baby and the most walkable neighborhood in all of Wauwatosa. Stil love this place though, so everyone in the area should patronize it because it has some of the best pastries in the state and arguably in the country.

Always great bakery, if you can withstand the ordering process. You can see the bakery as you go through line, but then told it is sold out. Or you order and they lose your ticket. Bring your patience.
