El Mezcal - Wausau

Great Mexican food, nice atmosphere, 2 for one margaritas on specific days, margaritas are strong enough and flavorful. Free homemade chips and salsa, bottomless! I ordered three tacos, homemade shells and very tasty, includes beans and rice for $10.99. My son got the fajitas taco salad, which is served in a fried tortilla shaped into large taco shell, flavorful and delicious, with beef and fajita veggies. He loves the Mexican soda, pineapple flavor was enjoyed! Prices are great, food is great, ambiance is great and our waitress was very nice and attentive. We really enjoy El Mezcal!

We had great food and buy one get on margaritas. Prices were extremely good and food portions were great. Atmosphere very inviting and relaxing. Service was exceptional!!

Love the food, staff is always friendly, but the frozen drinks were very weakly flavored where they're usually quite good! Went back today for lunch and all has returned to it's former level of deliciousness and the drinks were fantastic!!

I can't say enough good things about El Mezcal! I had the chimichanga, fried ice cream and the churros all of which were bomb! The service was really quick and I love the chips and salsa that were served almost immediately upon being seated. I also love the interior, which was really well done and the color scheme and decor were timeless and classic. If you live in Wausau area and haven't been to this family owned and operated restaurant what are you even doing???

Fast service and food is hot and delicious. First time here and when im back in the area again I will eat here. One of the best. Very friendly staff.
