Golden Bowl - WATTLE GROVE

Golden Bowl offers the best food I've ever had! Their satay is incredible, especially when paired with fried rice and a touch of sweetness. My whole family enjoys it so much that we always order the same dishes, including the salt and pepper chicken, ham and chicken rolls, and garlic toast—all absolutely delicious! The owner remembers my partner's name right away, which adds a nice personal touch. The recipes may be straightforward, but the owner is always willing to adjust them according to your preferences. The restaurant can get busy, but the staff remains friendly and welcoming. I also appreciate that the chefs occasionally converse in their own language while cooking; after all, we live in a diverse, multicultural country where everyone should feel free to communicate in a way that feels comfortable to them.

The food was not very tasty when taken to go. Hopefully, it’s better when dining in. On the positive side, the staff was friendly. We ordered nasi goreng, but it had zero flavor, which was quite strange.

The staff at Prawan on the Handy was incredibly rude, and they completely messed up my order. I usually enjoy getting my Thai food from here, but recently both the service and the food quality were absolutely terrible!
