Bidra med feedbackI dont know what this is but it is the worst attempt at Mexican food I have ever tasted. They give you as little meat as possible and the rest is nothing but veggies. The shells are suppose to be soft but they have them under a heater for so longthey are hard as rocks. The food has no flavor at all and I can honestly say it had none. If nothing was a flavor they nailedit. I ordered pork carnitas and didn't even have enough meat to fit in the palm of my hand. This place is a joke don't wasteyour money your better off going to taco bell and getting diarrhea. I'm very disappointed I read other reviews and though Ifound something good but now I believe they are a business that creates robot accounts and gives themselves reviews.
This place is the worst. We?ve tried to come twice. One afternoon I called around 3:15 and asked if they thought the patio would be busy around 4 and they said definitely not, it would not be a problem to get a table. We showed up and they had decidedto close the patio and wouldn?t sit us. A few months later we tried again. Called around 5:45, they said there would be a tableof 6 for us. When we showed up 10 minutes later they said there was no table available but there was a table of 6 that wouldprobably leave soon. We checked the patio and the table of 6 was not going to be leaving anytime soon. They all had margaritasand were having a great time. We?re not giving it another chance. Such a waste of time both times.
Very rude staff. I asked an employee if there were another entrance he just ignored me, I asked another employee if I could order because no one came to my table for over 15 minutes, he rudely walked passed me and waved another guy who came and took myorder. My advice to management is to hire trained professionals with hospitality experience. The most I can say about the Foodis it was okay, only because we were uncomfortable being there.
Cocina de Carlos is your standard Mexican restaurant. The lunch menu is competitively priced and many options. The food was fresh and the drinks were always topped off. The individual salsa dishes were a nice touch because I like to make mine hotter.Not five stars, because my fajitas were charred to the skillet. I understand the presentation is meant to be sizzling hot, butit might have been over done, because the smell of burning was present throughout the meal.
This is my #1 go to now- I love this places style and food everything looked great and well prepared.
