Zambrero - Waterloo

Great food and friendly service! definitely one of my new go to's!

After reading the mostly mixed reviews I didn 't have high expectations in my first visit to Zambrero. I wanted to give it a try anyway mostly because they had pretty good vegan options. I got the small vegan IQ burrito with cauliflower (added vegan sour cream and cheese . I actually quite liked it! It tasted pretty fresh and healthy. Would have liked it if the food had been a bit warmer (many of the ingredients/ 'toppings ' were very cold . Also, we had to wait for a while until we could order as there was a line of customers and only one person serving initially. Was not really a big issue though. Would definitely go back for a quick and fairly healthy vegan meal :

Mexican is in my top 5 of cuisines, I love the fresh flavours and ingredients in many of their dishes. I ordered the power bowl from Zambero with chicken, I love the option of having black rice and all the veggies. The chicken is marinated well and all the veggies tasty so crispy and fresh. This bowl was so yummy!

Fantastic for quick tasty fresh Mexican. Ive always loved Zambrero. Now with Coco Mexico an added Coffee bar. Great fitout in this new venue. Ubereats too so u can order from your bedroom!

I had no idea what to expect from Zam in Waterloo, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is impressively quick. I will definitely be returning for lunch!
