Restaurant Pietro - Waskesiu Lake

Everything was exemplary. Whether it was the service, the breadsticks, the main dishes or the seating arrangements, every detail is clearly considered and attended to. The food was beautifully balanced and the flavours nuanced. I cannot recall a better dining experience anywhere in Saskatchewan. Make...sure to reserve in advance.

Believe all that you read. This is the place to be for quality food and service. Enjoyed a fantastic night as we enjoyed an appetizer, entree and dessert all with excellent wine and service.

We were a group of 6, staying at a nearby resort. In view of the prevailing Covid situation, we were not quite ready to dine in here. Instead we placed an order for takeout. The ordering process over the phone was very smooth with a...very helpful gentleman taking my order.We ordered 6 dishes which we all shared. The Applewood smoked scallop was some of the best I ever tasted, Mozzarella Arancini we had not tasted before, but was liked by all, the Beef tenderloin carpaccio brought back memories and was good as what I have had before. Recommended.Linguine Alle Vongole, was not tasted by me, but was liked by a family member, as was the Sun dried pesto agnolotti. The Alberta Rack of Lamb was succulent and tender, just the way it should be. We will definitely be eating here on future visits. Hopefully, we will be able to dine in, and have the full experience. I would rate this restaurant a don't miss when in Waskesiu, and might be even suggest driving to Waskesiu just to dine here.

That was our second meal at pietro. we returned to a birthday party, and the chance of the $25 gift certificate that we were given at our first visit (after we complained about a reconsidered lobster dish.) were the steak dishes that we ate this time. definitiw not $50 per worth. they were quite salty and a bit sinful, with minimal care. as a zelebrant I was asked to choose one of the three desserts of the restaurant because a friend had already paid for it. the restaurant did not even offer a free glass prosecco. we visit waskesiu several times every summer, but will P.A next time we visit a meal we need.

Last night we had an excellent meal in pietro, especially the lamb frame that was perfectly prepared, cooked and plated. the salat and ravioli appetizers were very good as the two fresh berry loaded desserts. the employees of experienced and more beginners were very good, attentive and efficient, and the dining room experience was improved. we had the pleasure to eat in several michelin 3 star restaurants and the lamb frame was definitiw up to this standard. eating in the pietro was a wonderful experience.
