Social Circle Bistro - Washington DC

The Social Circle Bistro is situated just a short walk from the front desk of the Cambria Hotel. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. While the menu options were somewhat limited, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the drinks were refreshingly cold. However, the breakfast buffet felt overpriced at $20 per person.

Breakfast was acceptable on day one, although the omelet station was unattended, and the eggs seemed to have been prepared elsewhere. Day two's buffet was much better, offering the typical selections along with good coffee. If you're around for happy hour, definitely seek out Orlando—he really knows his stuff. This is a four-star hotel, so the prices are reasonable for that standard. Plus, it's within walking distance to many local bars and attractions.

This restaurant is situated inside the Cambria Hotel. The food is quite tasty; however, the prices are set as if it were a fine dining establishment, which it isn't. We dined there twice during our week in D.C., but we sought out other local options on other occasions because of the costs.

Really good salmon.
