Moms Grill Mini Mart - Washington

I was excited to try the famous cheese biscuits that I had heard so much about on my way to work one morning. I stopped in to grab a sandwich and a coffee. However, I was disappointed to find that the coffee pot was very low on coffee and I didn't want old coffee. I asked the young lady behind the counter to make a fresh pot, which she did. Unfortunately, the older lady who makes the biscuits then proceeded to verbally abuse the poor young employee, telling her she didn't care who asked for fresh coffee and not to waste her coffee. I was shocked by this behavior. I am giving this restaurant 2 stars only because the young lady behind the counter kept her composure. I will be getting my coffee elsewhere from now on.

The biscuits are great, the customer service however is another issue. This place is inside an old gas station mart. The chef is not friendly and if you don’t order your biscuits correctly, she laughs and mocks you and gives you something completely different than what you asked for. I asked for a bacon egg biscuit and came home with an egg sandwich on bread. Will not be back. Food: 4

My group traveled from Durham, NC to Little Washington. We explored the downtown area, walked along the docks, tried out some restaurants, visited a few shops, and stopped by a couple of bars. Before leaving town, we decided to check out Mom's Grill based on its excellent reviews. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations and was the highlight of our trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the cheese-filled biscuits. It was a delightful experience, and I could have easily been content after just one bite. I highly recommend making the effort to drive out and visit this hidden gem.

Biscuits are off the chain good!! They serve over the counter, not sit down! Food was great! More like a hole in the wall type joint with a 100% Sanitation Grade!! Don’t let that outside fool you, this place legit!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The best biscuits I have ever had in my life. My family and I were in town and stopped by this little shop before we headed back home. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! We got the bacon egg and cheese biscuits and we wished we would've taken some for the road! The biscuits are homemade and let me tell you...you can sure taste the love . We will be back next year when we are in town!
