Bidra med feedbackGreat place for Korean food (especially bibimbap bowls). Prices are good and because we were waiting a little more the owner just gave us a free round of beer. Miso soup is also very tasty. Awesome!!
A cozy, relaxing place that you can enjoy the food after walking in the rain. The atmosphere just matches Georgetown.
Very delicious Korean cuisine. Gubboki. Very tender juicy beef slices over noodles with veggies and a side of white rice. Will return!
The smells were amazing, and the people were friendly and helpful. I arrived a little before 6 and there was one table still available and no line. By the time my companion arrived 20 minutes later (I know, right? , there were no tables, hardly any space at the bar, and a considerable line. They got us seated at a table all the same. I had the seafood soup, which was nice but not as transcendent as some of the smells. The broth was a little subtle for me, even though I added a lot of kimchi into it. I wouldn't downgrade a place due to my poor ordering and different expectations.
The service at Zannchi can vary. I've dined here about six times, and while some servers have been prompt, polite, and attentive, others have seemed distracted and disengaged. However, the food has consistently been excellent. The portion sizes are more than enough, although they might not look it at first due to the large serving bowls. Nonetheless, I’ve always left satisfied. The prices are reasonable, especially given the concise menu. The atmosphere isn't particularly impressive, but the temperature has always been comfortable, whether it’s sweltering in the summer or chilly in the winter. While seating is limited, I’ve never had to wait for a table. Overall, I recommend Zannchi for its great food at a fair price, which can be hard to find in Georgetown.
