Bombay Street Food 2 - Washington

Good Indian food with a distinct flavor. Had the gobi manchurian that has a twist where the gobi was crispy and sauced well. Had kheema pav that was tasty. The biryani was yummy at its own level not to compared with other biryani's. The kids loved it and keep talking about coming back to cut their dum biryanis that is covered with a dough. This is one of our favorite places. The food is tasty and more of a fusion to suit the american pallete.

As you enter this beautiful restaurant, the gorgeous Indian artwork and aromatic spices that fall upon your senses will transport you to the streets of Mumbai : I had a delicious and flavor packed meal here a couple weeks ago and am still thinking about how amazing it was! I started out the meal with the crispy palak chaat and the vada pav appetizers. Amazing ambience and even better taste. Everything was superb, my new fav spot in DC. The manager was even friendlier too and checkin about the service and share details about the other locations and the founder. Our server was amazing too, added last minute request to our order once we forgot to alter slider remark. Had authentic taste and flavor of all spices. It made our last day in DC worth it.

Best Indian I've had in so long. The staff was also so sweet. We asked for a recommendation on the appetizer and it blew our minds, the crispy spinach with yogurt (name doesn't do it justice) was the best Indian dish I've ever had. Also got the chicken biryani and my husband raved I got lamb Rogan Josh which was different than I've had at other places but was deliciously spiced and tender less sweet than I've had which I enjoyed. Next time I'm in DC I will be coming back

Good food, it is definitely very Maharashtrian and Mumbai for. The dahi puri was amazing if you like the Pune/Mumbai style. Did not try the vada pav but it looked good. Shared the non-veg thali and also ordered chicken tikka masala. Ask for higher spice level if you want it. Taste and flavor is good. Ambience is worth sitting inside to eat. Service on Wednesday evening was fast even though they had a lot of takeout orders!
