La Coppola - Warwick

We've been here before and had a fabulous meal. This meal was still very good, the staff is great. My only advice is not too much to order. The starter parts are very large. We'll go back, but his really special night for us...

We visited La Coppola for a birthday dinner. As always, the food was delicious, but the service was extremely hurried. It is not the kind of place you want to enjoy 3 courses and a bottle of wine in less than an hour. We have... a special family opportunity in summer and had planned to visit this, but we will certainly not be now, as it does not relax at all.

Anyway I visit, the food is exceptional and the service is amazing! the staff is very friendly and attentive. the decor is beautiful and there is always such a great ambience! I can't wait to come back soon. This is definitely my place for a lovely dinner in Leamington.

We had a booking of 7:00 this evening with good friends that we hadn't seen for years. The staff was very attentive. The main meals were delicious, but after our first second course we wanted to leave a short gap behind us before we order... Dessert, so we could enjoy our wine chat to our friends, but if not rude, it was made very clear to us if we asked, we could only give a few minutes more before we chose our desert that they needed us to make our choice quick as they wanted our table. It was 8.30 and yes, we were there one and a half hours, but we had two coarse and aperitifs and wine. In good restaurants it is common to relax, enjoy your meal not feeling in vain. Anyway, we've met our desert choices that were very good, but we didn't feel like ordering coffee liqueurs as we didn't feel so welcome. It is a nice place to eat, though not cheap, the bill was about £300 for 4 people and for this kind of money I don't think we should feel rushed.

Due to delays on the table with the previous booking, we had to stand in the reception for 25 minutes. We weren't offered a drink and we didn't get that time back at the end. Once seated, We ordered cocktails that also took another 15...minutes so we were then rushed through 3 courses plus wine in around an hour. The bill came out with the desserts. The food itself was excellent but overall each member of the group was left disappointed by an expensive experience.
