Il Pizzaiolo Warrendale

I love the cozy vibe and warm feel of this beautiful space. The homemade pasta is delicious! This is a more upscale casual Italian spot, with more authentic Italian foods than “Pittsburgh Italian, pizza, burger and fry joints”. The service is never impressive to me here. The most disappointing aspect is that I’ve repeatedly asked for a previous offering of wine that was offered by the glass but is only by the bottle now. It’s a shame, they just can’t figure out how to make that happen. Overall the food is delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to children

5 star review for a 5 star experience! We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation, and I expected we would need to wait, which would have been OK since we were early, but we were seated without delay. Geo was our server and he was the best. Our salads were delicious and fresh. Entrees were hot and outstanding. Start to finish could not have had a better experience. Hopefully, the couple on their first date next to us didn't beat Geo up too bad.

Good food, plentiful portions, great service. Cocktails good. Prices were a little high. Vegetarian options: I had eggplant Parmesan not sure of other options. Parking: We arrived at 7:00 p.m. and almost the entire parking lot was filled. Had to drive around a little bit to find a space. A lot of people were parking and back.
