The Riverview Cafe - Warkworth

The restaurant features a lovely atmosphere with a stunning view of the Warkworth River. I have only tried the poached eggs, which can be quite unpredictable, but I’m happy to say they were done to perfection! I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because they only offer one type of bread, their house-made wholemeal bread, while I personally prefer grain bread.

I've visited this restaurant a couple of times over the past few months. The coffee is quite nice, although during my second visit, it was placed within easy reach of my baby, and when I mentioned this to the staff, they didn't seem too concerned—my baby did go for it! The quinoa salad is also fantastic, and I enjoyed it both times I visited. It's great to see healthy and delicious options like this on the menu. Overall, it's a lovely spot by the river.

I visited the riverside café today (March 28, 2016) with a group of 11 people. The food was fantastic across the board, and I couldn't find anything to criticize. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere by the river was absolutely delightful. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Warkworth is a lovely place if you like shopping. But for me, the real attraction is the river. The Riverview Cafe gives me a chance to sit quietly and contemplate the river and drink coffee. That's enough for me.

This place serves good, fresh, simple food at a good price. The service is quick and really friendly. Nice location by the river which can be enjoyed if you sit outside.
