Bidra med feedbackThe godfather invites his son to dinner and mother is allowed. The son of a godfather, my son, is open to everything he is invited. And the godfather was long gone to the “Mongoles”, as we call the “Dschingis Khan” restaurant, and would like to eat again. And my first review has been back for a long time at 3 years ago, a good opportunity to update the state of things. Parking is available in the evening to enjoy the car park of the city and district administration. I have to drive, so I have to choose alcohol-free later. We enter the restaurant around 6:00 a.m. on a weekday and some tables are already occupied. In the front area right next to the entrance is the barbecue station and on the left is the large buffet. Then you go straight ahead to the guest room, next to it is a second one that is no longer occupied tonight. The furnishings and the ambience we like: red lacquered tables with comfortable chairs that have a high backrest in rooms with red-brown wood panelling. I admit, you must like that. There are no big dragons or asia-typical decorations like other Chinese restaurants. There is also a round table in a niche where a group of 8 people can sit very well undisturbed. Round table in a niche We are welcomed very friendly and can choose our table free. We announce that we want to eat all three of the buffet, “all you can eat” per person for €13.90, the same price as three years ago. Of course, you can also choose à la carte, although somewhat limited. Also the drinks are clear from the outset, for me a large Cola (0.4 l for 2,90 € , for my son a Erdinger Kristallweizen (3,20 € and for the Patenonkel a 0.4 l old beer (2,90 €). The drinks are well chilled fixed at the table and we are on our way to the buffet. I love the Beijing soup, also this time it is nicely sharp, with plenty of deposits, especially very hot. The other two are falling on meat and vegetables. The buffet offers everything that is common in Mongolian grill nowadays, all meat types, including kangaroo and ostrich meat, various vegetables, crisp fresh and various fish varieties, salads, hot and cold appetizers, sushi and some desserts. What I like is that the containers are not filled in impact, but it is included so much in that it is appreciated for all the guests currently present, then refilled with fresh quantities. Nothing looks standing or dried, but everything makes a really fresh impression and is especially very clean. Various vegetables I first take from the offered fish varieties, plentiful small shrimps, salmon and some of the squid, plus sugar chops, carrot slices and broccoli, choose one of the 14 sauces that are built before the grill and let everything grill from the cook. The ingredients are cooked to the point, taste spicy, only the ink table could have been a bit tenderer. Since I don't like meat today, I'll take a second portion without squid rings, but with even more sugar-chots because they're just delicious and crisp. A dessert, of course, had to be. And at the sight of the small glasses with the toxic green content, childhood memories are awake: Dr. Oetker Wackelpudding with vanilla sauce. And just this artificial stuff it had to be now with exactly the finished product vanilla sauce, as I know from earlier. And, of course, not only one of these little glasses, but also four, full of rims filled with cold boiled vanilla sauce. Magnificent! A fifth also fits in... Desserts Overall a pleasant evening, with friendly service, delicious food, good conversations, we felt comfortable!
