Bidra med feedbackVERY difficult to know if they were open-dark windows Staffing:Pleasant ALLERGY accommodations: As always, before being seated, I advise the management of my allergies. The host/manager consulted with me pointing out which items on the menu could be modified. His recommendations: SOUP: Sweet corn with chicken $6/bowl Presentation: could have been better served with a dash of color-maybe a drizzle of chili oil. The texture of the soup was nice: whole corn kernels and some julienned asparagus and bits of carrots. Flavor was a bit timid and I was trying to determine what was used as the thickening agent. 3/5 ENTREES: portions are on the small side. TAKDA dal: $15 curried yellow lentils with tomato and spices modified-no onion Lovely seasoning and just enough bite on the lentils. My only criticism- it was Lukewarm. Must have been held under the lights as it had formed a skin. I would order again. KADAI PANEER:$17 Paneer sautéed with bell pepper in a cashew sauce usually has onion Very rich with a luxurious mouthfeel. A good dish to share. NAZAMI HANDI:$16 Vegetables and paneer in a creamy tomato based sauce. VERY similar to the paneer dish. Of the two-I would select the mixed vegetables HANDI again. NAN--omg so lovely. Definitely made on premise. DESSERT: Rash Malal Fluffing and milky with a delicate sweet carrot reduction sprinkled with pistachio and an accent of edible flowers An appropriate sweet ending when you have over indulged. Masala chai lacked a bit of spice. Overall, a solid 3.5 star meal. I'll add 1/2 star in appreciation of them accommodating my allergies. This meal was more than sufficient for 4 people with moderate appetites. I took home the majority of the meal for another meal. I'm stuffed and satisfied. $99 plus tax and tip. Overall, for some reason, the food did not come out piping hot. It appears that it may have sat under the lamps, but was not attend it to you in time. I was one of only for tables in the restaurant, so I'm not certain why this happened. Overall, I would return again with friends or family. TOTAL BEFORE TAX=$99 for 1 soup. One appetizer, three entrees, two varieties of bread, one dessert, and a masala chai. $120 total as a cost per meal rather than cost per check, because I will be able to have leftovers and serve my daughter as well. average cost/serving-approximately $20 including tip.
Lamb curry was excellent. Huge portions. I normally order 2 garlic Naan's and never feel it's enough. I couldn't finish the two I got from here.
The butter chicken was absolutely delicious! Ambiance, presentation and service was perfect
The food is awesome. Always fresh and delicious. The service can be quite slow but is expected when the food quality is so high and the workforce is so meek. The building was originally built to house a Bonefish grill and has a long bar area and plenty of seating in the bar and dining room. Overall Avery good experience. Highly recommended.
Beautiful setting with seating both indoor and out. Food was excellent we tried several different dishes and they didn't disappoint. I felt the paneer dish was the best. Only down side was the serving team seemed a bit fluxumed. We had to ask twice for drinks and and a side of yogurt. A bit pricey but I would go again.
