Wangaratta RSL

The food at this restaurant was average for a typical RSL level, but it was filling and worth it. The staff were friendly and very appealing. I would definitely consider dining here again.

Our Probus club organized our 50-person jubilee dinner at this restaurant. The menu had a wide variety of options including 5 starters, desserts, and coffee. We were seated in a private section with a lighting system, microphone, and even saw the Probus logo on the big screen TV. The club even presented our birthday cake after dessert. The service was excellent.

The restaurant hasn't been in business for at least 6 months. The employees in the kitchen seemed disinterested, and the presentation of the prime parma was lackluster.

The staff very obliging, somewhat disappointing with the meal, my wife had the fish, said it was ok, I had the shn shnitzel burger, had to cut for a steak knife, it was served with a Turkish brot, hard too. even chew, only had a third of it, would be better with a proper burger roll, would think twice about going back

Oh dear, expectations were low but the pork roast was appalling. The vegetables were all almost raw, the potatoes were also undercooked and boiled, not roasted, all frozen of course. The gravy was straight out of a box. Gee, lunch time options in Wangaratta are...diminishing even more. At least I used to get homely wholesome meals at the RSL. All new team not an improvement.
