Rove Cafe - Wanaka

I had a great time during their happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM/8 PM, where I enjoyed $6 gin and tonics along with some hot chips. The real highlight, though, was their chicken wings! The buffalo sauce was fantastic—*chef’s kiss*—and the homemade blue cheese was simply mouthwatering. As someone from upstate New York, I can confidently say these are some of the best buffalo wings I've ever had! Be sure to check out this hidden gem when you're in Wanaka!

Absolutely the best breakfast in Wanaka! The Weekend Big Breakfast deal is unbeatable and renowned throughout the area. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful. You can enjoy your meal next to a large outdoor fire while sipping on superb coffee; and if you're in the mood for something stronger, why not grab a drink from the bar?

Wow, that absolute best fries ever with that chilli bite. I would have mixed it with the sauce provided and aioli. Then it would have been perfect. I am so pleased to find a light bite like this after a busy day. I'm definitely coming back. Fingers crossed, Rove is still here then.

LOVED IT!!! no where was open at 9.30pm...all kitchens everywhere was shut but when I called speights Ale house to check if they were still open, a lovely man told me about Rove and highly recommended it. Food was quick and hot. I rang and ordered ahead. The guy on the phone was cool as, really friendly and accommodating giving me his recommendations etc. Will be back for sure! Thanks Rove team!!
